Canon Female Photojournalist Grant

For the twenty-third year in a row, Canon and Visa pour l’Image will be presenting the prestigious Canon Female Photojournalist Grant to an outstanding photographer in recognition of her contribution to photojournalism.

The 2023 winner, Anastasia Taylor-Lind, will receive the award with prize money of €8,000 to continue her long-term work on the civilian experience of war in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine. She will focus on families living with the conflict since 2014, and the way they have been affected since Russia’s full-scale invasion.

This year, we will be happy to exhibit the works of Natalya Saprunova / Zeppelin (2022 winner) on the Evenki indigenous people and their culture in Yakutia in the Russian Far East.
