Canon Video Grant – Short Film Documentary

We are pleased to be presenting the Canon Video Grant for a short film documentary. The recipient will be awarded a grant of €8,000 from Canon plus the use of pioneering Canon professional video equipment to be made available on loan.

The 2025 grant winner, Shiho Fukada, will receive €8,000, in addition to a loan of pioneering Canon professional video equipment, to fund her project “Echoes of Little Tokyo”, about a funeral home that has been run by a Japanese-American family for five generations, serving the community in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles.
