New Internet payments for photographers

This year the Saif and LaScam will be reviewing the situation of the 2019 European Union directive on copyright and related rights in the digital single market, looking at issues that have arisen with its transposition, and the responsibilities and liabilities of web publishers and web hosting service providers. The discussion will focus on the balance required for a fair division of the value generated, given the current inequitable arrangements between the platforms, the arts industry and the different media.
