Getty Images Grants celebrates 10 year anniversary

Getty Images is delighted to announce the recipients of its 2014 Grants program at Visa Pour l’Image - Perpignan. This is the tenth year Getty Images has supported the photojournalism and creative communities, investing over $1.2 million into the program, which was launched in 2005 with the aim of empowering a more visual world through enabling photojournalists, filmmakers and creatives to draw attention to significant social and cultural issues.

Having already enabled over 49 photojournalists to capture ground-breaking visual essays, Getty Images will be announcing the 2014 recipients at the evening screening on Thursday, September 4, followed by a showcase presenting the award-winning projects on Friday, September 5 at 3pm in the Jean-Claude Rolland auditorium at the Palais des Congrès.
