Getty Images Grants for Editorial Photography
Getty Images will be pleased to announce the 2015 winners of the Getty Images Grants for Editorial Photography at Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan. Getty Images has been supporting photojournalists and original creative projects, and has invested more than $1.2 million in the grants program. the venture was launched in 2005 for the purpose of fostering a world of more striking images, offering photojournalists and original creative artists opportunities to raise awareness on social and cultural issues.
Fifty-four photojournalists have already recorded and presented innovative and unusual stories. Getty Images will be announcing the winners for 2015 in Perpignan, at the evening show on Thursday, September 3, then will be presenting the winning project on Friday, September 4 at 3pm, at the Palais des Congrès (Jean-Claude Rolland auditorium).
