Achievement in Portraiture
Humanitarian Award & Visionary Award (alternating each year)
Spotlight Award

There are also Lucie Awards of the Year in the following categories:
Photography Magazine of the Year
Exhibition of the Year
Book Publisher of the Year
Fashion Layout of the Year
Print Advertising Campaign of the Year
Picture Editor of the Year (the winner was our friend, Michele McNally, Director of Photography at the New York Times.)

The ceremony for the 6^th Annual Lucie Awards was held on October 20th, 2008, at the Lincoln Center in New York.
Visa pour l'Image Festival was the honoree chosen for the Spotlight Award.

Visa pour l'Image is proud to be sharing this Lucie Award with you, the prize being in recognition of the Festival and all it has done for the world of photojournalism over the past twenty years.
