Organized, with the assistance and in cooperation of ASMP (United States) and UPP (France), a round table dealing with picture agency and photographers relationships.
A panel of esteemed photographers, agencies and collectives leaders will explore: "Between Art + Commerce - How do We Make this Symbiotic Photographer's-Agencies Relationship Work?".
The round table will explore the globalization of photography, what agencies do and don't do for their photographers, what money photographers - make or do not make - with an agency, the affect of this economic model on this fragile business relationship and quite simply whether photographers need an agent at all... will be dealt with. Scott Mc Kiernan, veteran photographer, with long time experience in North, South America, Africa, Asia and Europe, and now CEO of ZUMA Press in the United States, will moderate a panel comprising of representatives of photographers associations and picture agencies associations, as well as collectives and picture agencies, a photographer and a picture editor.

Is France a macho country - in politics, at work, and in society in general?
Will the DSK scandal challenge the taboo on everyday sexism in France? For politicians and businessmen, macho beliefs and behavior are still, unfortunately, standard practice. Could the DSK scandal be an opportunity for changing attitudes and behavior? Are women - and also men - willing to see France move away from these stereotypes?
The panel discussion will be led by Valérie Toranian, Editor of Elle magazine, and Caroline Laurent-Simon, feature reporter with ELLE. With : Vincent Cespedes, philosophe, Catherine Le Magueresse, jurist, Elisabeth Levy, founder and managing editor of "Causeur", Arnaud Montebourg, deputy and chairman of the General Council of Saône-et-Loire, Audrey Pulvar, journalist and presenter of television.
